Named after the town of Marmande appeal lies to the north of Wine Country Southwest France . The vineyards cover 1,700 hectares south of the AC Bergerac . Red and rose wines are made from a maximum of 75% Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot, a maximum of 50% Abouriou, Malbec, Fer, Gamay and Syrah blended. The white wine is made at least 70% Sauvignon Blanc, Sémillon and Ugni Blanc and blended. Well-known producers are Chateau la Bastide, Château de Beaulieu, and the two co de CV and CV de Beaupuy Cocumont.
