The named after the village appellation in the north Corsica extends from the Gulf of Saint-Florent-west of Bastia to the south. They overlap to some extent with the AC Muscat du Cap Corse . The vineyards cover only about 400 hectares of vines on limestone soils. Which are more than 80% were producing red wines and rosés made from at least 90% Nielluccio and Grenache Noir, Sciacarello and Vermentino. The white wine is sorted from Vermentino (called Malvoisie) pressed. Well-known producers are Antoine Arena, Clos de Bernardi, Domaine de Catarelli, Domaine Gentile, Domaine Giacometti, Domaine Leccia, Clos Marfisi, Clos Montemagni, orenga de Gaffory, Pastricciola Domaine, Domaine Clos Teddi Aliso Rossi.
