The DOC area Aglianico del Taburno Taburno or apply for red and rosé and white wines in the Italian region of Campania . The zone includes areas of the municipalities Apollosa, Benevento, Bonea Campoli del Monte Taburno, Castelpoto, Cautano, Foglianise, Montesarchio, Paupisi, Ponte, Tocco Caudio, Torrecuso and Vitulano in the province of Benevento. Aglianico del Taburno Rosso and Rosato Aglianico del Taburno be pressed from Aglianico (85-100%), and other permitted red varieties (15%).
Taburno Bianco is made from Trebbiano Toscano (40-50%), Falanghina (30-40%), and other approved varieties. Taburno Rosso (also called Novello) is made from Sangiovese (40-50%), Aglianico (30-40%), and produces other varieties permitted.
