The most important grape varieties
DOCG for sweet white wine in the Italian region Veneto . The zone includes the entire community affinity, as well as parts of Caldiero Cazzano di Tramigna, Colognola ai Colli, Illasi, Lavagno, Mezzane di Sotto, Montecchia di Crosara, Monteforte d'Alpone, Ronca, San Giovanni Ilarione, San Martino Buon Albergo, and Soave in the province of Verona. The wine type within the Soave DOC zone in 1998 was awarded the DOCG classification. The dessert wine is named after the process here so Recioto from selected grapes and rosinierten (see also Passito ) varieties of Garganega (70-100%), any use of Trebbiano di Soave Nostrano, Pinot Bianco and Chardonnay (30%), and any other permitted white varieties (up to 5%) blended. The actual (existing) alcohol content must be at least 12% alcohol by volume. The pale yellow to amber-colored wine has a bouquet of ripe tropical fruit, raisins, figs, honey and Malzkaramellen. There is also a sparkling spumante with at least 11.5% alcohol content. Wines from the classic zone (see below Soave ) May have the additional title "Classico" lead on the label.
