Greek appellation (Ankhíalos, Anhialos) south of the port city of Volos in the Gulf of Paga in the region of Thessaly , named after the city. The 400 hectares of vineyards are located almost on the sea level. The near sea positively influenced the climatic conditions. The OPAP white wine is one half of the indigenous varieties Roditis and Savatiano pressed.
