The zone includes the eponymous municipality Aprilia parts of the municipalities Cisterna di Latina and Latina in the province of Latina and Nettuno in the province of Roma. The three types of wine varietal Merlot, Sangiovese (a Rosato) and Trebbiano may each contain up to 5% of other varieties of similar color.
