DOC for a wide range of red and white wines in the Italian region Veneto . The zone includes the eponymous Arcola another 15 communities in the two provinces of Verona and Vicenza. The varietal wines must contain at least 85% of each variety, the rest can be approved varieties of the same color. The unmixed types are Cabernet (Cabernet Franc and / or Cabernet Sauvignon and / or Carmenère), Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay, Garganega, Merlot, Pinot Bianco and Pinot Grigio. The Bianco is from Garganega (at least 50%), and alternatively Chardonnay, Pinot Bianco and Pinot Grigio blended. The Rosso is produced from Merlot (at least 50%), and alternatively Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon and Carmenère.
