DOC (also Asprinio di Aversa) for dry white wine in the Italian region of Campania . The area includes the municipalities of Aversa, Carinaro, Casal di Principe, Casaluce, Casapesenna, Cesa, Frignano, Gricignano di Aversa, Lusciano, Orta Atella Tues, Parete, San Cipriano d'Aversa, San Marcellino, Sant Arpino, Succivo, Teverola, Trentola -Ducenta, Villa di Briano and Literno villa in the province of Caserta, and the municipalities of Giugliano in Campania, and Sant Antimo Qualiano in the province of Naples. The wine is made from the variety Asprinio Bianco pressed (85-100%) and possibly other permitted white varieties (up to 15%). The sparkling wine produced must be sorted out Asprinio Bianco. A special feature is that the winemakers traditional training system "Alberata AVERSANA" is permitted. Here trees are used as props and highly trained vines vertically up to ten meters out. The harvest must be made on a "scale Napoletane" designated leaders. This is to be preserved as a formative cultural heritage landscape. These wines must contain the label text "Alberata" or "ad Vigneti Alberata".
