Partly tart nose with oak and vegetal notes, partly sweetish vanilla, red and black berries, preserved cherries. Full-bodied on the palate, again quite a lot of oak, ripe, fairly juicy fruit, countered by dry oak tannins as well as gripping fruit tannins, prominent alcohol, very creamy, good persistence, still undeveloped, light acid bite, jammy notes and some diffuse contours, not particularly deep, astringent oak again on a good finish. Will probably mature quite well, but will become even more diffuse with maturity.
