Preserved, fairly sweetish juicy red berry and plum fruit on the palate, touch of currants and sultanas, nutty notes, slightly prominent tannins, shows its origin, pleasant to drink now, but also has some potential, slightly fleshy on a good finish.

Straightforward, dried and slightly overrope fruit on the palate, some medicinal herbs, delicately bitter in the background, fine-grained tannins, but also slightly astringent, typical of the variety and shows its origin, carefully made, refreshing style, very slightly astringent on a good finish.

Fairly uncomplicated style, but not simple,crisp partly preserved and partly dried berry fruit, earthy notes, aome tart herbs and undergrowth, integrated tannins, has some substance and backbone, varietal character, shows its origin, attractive to good finish.

Fairly prominent, straightforward fruit on the palate, marinated and preserved cherries and some plums, dried herbs and some spice, more earthy notes, integrated tannins, has substance, but not particularly deep, attractive to good finish.

Slightly artificial nose with candied light cherries. Uncomplicated style, bone dry on the palate, some cherry fruit, slightly bitter, fairly prominent integrated acidity, quite a firm, angular partner with food, acceptable to attractive finish.

Berry nose with stalky, spicy and oaky notes, hint of gun-powder. Fairly open plum and berry fruit, hint of volatile acidity in the background, makes it slightly juicy, uncomplicated, fiarly fine-grained, medium but also slightly astringent tannins, attractive finish.
