The small appellation located in the east of the French wine region of Provence , near the border with Italy. The vineyards above Nice cover only about 50 acres. The white wine is made of matter and Mayorquin Ugni Blanc, and a maximum of 40% Clairette, Bourboulenc, Chardonnay, Muscat Blanc and Pignerol blended. Red and rose wines are made Braquet, Fuella and Cinsault, and a maximum of 40% Mayorquin, Clairette, Bourboulenc, Chardonnay, Muscat Blanc and Pignerol. Known producer Château de Bellet, Château de Cremat, Domaine du Fogolar, Max Gillies and are Clos St-Vincent.
