The most important grape varieties
DOC for red and white wines in the Italian region Veneto . The area includes 28 municipalities in the province of Vicenza. The types of wine are Cabernet (Cabernet Franc and / or Cabernet Sauvignon, Reserve as well), Chardonnay (85-100%, Pinot Bianco and 15%), Garganega (90-100%, Trebbiano di Soave to 10%), Merlot (100 unmixed%), Pinot Bianco (85-100%, Pinot Grigio and 15%), Sauvignon (90-100% Garganega and 10%), Tocai Italico (90-100% Garganega and 10%), Grenache Tocai Rosso = Noir (85-100% Garganega and 15%) and Tocai Rosso di Barbarano Barbarano or short (85-100% Garganega and 15%, higher alcohol content). The sparkling wine is blended from Garganega (50-100%), and in any use of Chardonnay, Pinot Bianco, Pinot Grigio and Sauvignon (50%).
