The most important grape varieties
DOC for dry red, rosé and white wines in the Italian region Calabria . The zone includes the eponymous municipality Bivongi, furthermore Camini, Caulonia, Monasterace, Pazzano, Placanica, Riace, Stignano and Stilo in the province of Reggio Calabria, and the community in the province of Catanzaro Guardavalle. The Bianco is a maximum in any mixture of Greco Bianco and / or Guardavalle (Uva Greca) and / or Montonico Bianco (30-50%), Ansonica and / or Malvasia Bianca (30-50%), and other permitted white varieties (30 % blended).
