The appellation covers areas in the entire French wine-growing region Law . The vineyards of 650 hectares of vineyards are located in 60 communities. The most famous include Arlay, Gevingey, Le Vernois, Poligny Rotalians and Voiteur. The red wine is blended from Poulsard, Trousseau and Pinot Noir. The Rosé is made Poulsard, Trousseau and Pinot Noir, Pinot Gris, Chardonnay and Savagnin. The white wine is made Savagnin Blanc and Chardonnay grapes. The AC Côtes du Jura mousse applies to sparkling wines from Savagnin, Chardonnay and Pinot Blanc. The AC Côtes du Jura Vin de Paille is for sweet Vin de Paille from Poulsard, Trousseau, and Chardonnay Savagnin. The AC Côtes du Jura Vin Jaune is true for Vin Jaune from Savagnin.
