The most important grape varieties
DOCG for dry red wine in the Italian region Tuscany . The 15 kilometers northwest of Florence lying area comprises the two municipalities Carmignano and Poggio a Caiano on the northern slopes of Monte Albano, on the north bank of the Arno River in the province of Prato.
