Kirschgarten
Single location in the village Laumersheim (range Mittelhaardt-German Wine Route) in the German wine-growing area Palatine . The name derives from the former ownership of the land by the monastery in Worms Cherry Orchard. The first written reference is from 1654 was "The Cherry Garthen". The south-facing vineyards at 140 meters above sea level of up to 15% slope comprise 45 hectares of vineyards. The soils consist of loam with limestone in the subsurface and have a good Water storage capacity . Here are cultivated especially the Burgundian varieties Pinot Noir, Pinot Blanc, Pinot Gris and Chardonnay. Shares in a position to have such wineries Clippers , Philip Kuhn and Mario tent .
