The most important grape varieties
DOC for white wine in the Italian region of Liguria . The 140-acre area includes the towns of Monterosso al Mare, Riomaggiore, La Spezia (in part) and Vernazza in the province of La Spezia. The vineyards are located on steep, terraced slopes along the Gulf of Genoa. The dry wine is made of Bosco (40-100%), Albarola and / or Vermentino (40%), and other permitted white varieties (up to 20%) grapes. For the same varieties, the semi-dry to sweet-developed "Cinque Terre Sciacchetrà " produced from grapes rosinierten. From this it is also a Reserve .
