The most important grape varieties
DOCG for white wine in the Italian region Emilia-Romagna . The Upgrade from DOC to DOCG was in 2010. The zone lies within the DOC Colli Bolognesi and includes the towns of Bazzano, Casalecchio di Reno, Castello di Serravalle, Crespellano, Monte San Pietro, Monteveglio, Sasso Marconi and Zola Predosa in the province of Bologna, and the community Savignano sul Panaro in the province of Modena . The wine is blended from Pignoletto (zum. 95%), as well as other varieties permitted (max. 5%).
