DOC area of dry red and white wine in the Italian region of Liguria . The area includes the municipalities of Bonassola, Deiva Marina, Levanto Framura and in the province of La Spezia. The Bianco is from Vermentino (40-75%), Albarola (20-55%), Bosco (5-40%), and other permitted white varieties (up to 35%) blended. The Rosso (also known as Novello in secco and abboccato) is made from Sangiovese (40-60%), Ciliegiolo (20-40%), and other permitted red varieties (up to 20%) were produced.
