DOC area (Collio and short) for a wide range of red and white wines in the Italian region of Friuli-Venezia Giulia . The name means "hill of Goriziono". The area includes the municipalities Capriva del Friuli, Cormons Dolegna del Collio, Isonzo Farra, Gorizia, Mossa, San Floriano del Collio and San Lorenzo Isontino in the province of Gorizia (Gorizia). The North includes the DOC Eastern Hills of Friuli in Udine province, the river forms the border Judrio. The area with about 1,500 hectares of vineyards spread over the hilly country between the rivers Isonzo and Judrio in the west to the Slovenia border in the east. The soil consists of marl and calcareous sandstone, which is heavily infiltrated with minerals. This is referred to a community as "flysch of Cormons". About 80% of fragrant white wines are produced. The varietal wines must contain at least 85% of each variety, the remaining 15% can be approved varieties of the same color. These are the types of Cabernet (Cabernet Franc and / or Cabernet Sauvignon), Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay, Malvasia, Merlot, Müller-Thurgau, Picolit, Pinot Bianco, Pinot Grigio, Pinot Nero, or Ribolla Ribolla Gialla, Riesling ( Riesling from Renano), Riesling Italico, Sauvignon, Tocai and Traminer Aromatico Friulano. The Bianco is blended in any use of Chardonnay, Malvasia Istriana, Pinot Bianco, Pinot Grigio, Riesling Italico and Ribolla Gialla, Renano Riesling, Sauvignon and Tocai Friulano (80-100%), and any other white varieties (up to 20%). There is no Rosato.

The Rosso is produced in any mixture or using one or more approved red grape varieties. All wines are at least expanded secco (dry), some in amabile (sweet) and dolce (sweet). Many there are more alcohol Superiore and longer bearing reserve . An original wine from the community Cormons is not classified Vino della Pace (Wine of Peace) from no fewer than 400 different varieties.
