The most important grape varieties
DOC for white wine in the province of Verona in the Italian region of West Veneto . The zone covers the hills and rolling plains between the Adige and Lazise on the southeastern shore of Lake Garda with the communities Bussolengo, Castelnuovo del Garda, Lazise, Pastrengo, Peschiera del Garda, Sommacampagna, Sona, Valeggio sul Mincio and Villafranca di Verona in the province of Verona . The area corresponds roughly to the DOC Bardolino . The dry Bianco (also known as Superior ) is made from Trebbiano Toscano (20-45%), Garganega (20-40%), Friulian Tocai = Trebbianello (30%), and in any use of Cortese = Bianca Fernanda, Riesling Italico ( Welsch Riesling), Chardonnay, Pinot Bianco and Malvasia Toscana (20-30% blended). The removed in Amabile and Dolce raisin is produced from dried grapes. It's a Spumante Brut in the versions, Extra Brut and Extra Dry.
