DOC for white wine in the Italian region Lazio . The zone with about 1,700 hectares is one of the large area Castelli Romani (in the southwestern part). It includes the towns of Genzano and Nemi Lanuvio near the lake in the province of Roma. Through the area runs the famous Via Appia Antica. The wine is made from Trebbiano Toscano and / or Trebbiano Verde and / or Trebbiano Giallo (30-100%), Malvasia Bianca di Candia and Malvasia puntinata (70%), and any other permitted white varieties (up to 10%) blended. He is aged in Secco and Amabile.
