The most important grape varieties

DOC area for dry red, rosé and white wines in the Italian region of Trade Marks . The zone includes the eponymous municipality of Pesaro another 30 communities in the provinces of Pesaro and Urbino. The varietal types Biancame, Sangiovese (also called Novello) and Trebbiano must be produced from at least 85% of each variety, the remaining 15% may be other approved varieties of the same color. The red Focara in any use made of Pinot Noir, Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot (at least 50%), and other permitted red varieties (up to 25%, except up to 50% Sangiovese) is generated. The Focara Pinot Noir (also known as Reserve) is made from Pinot Nero (90-100%), and any other permitted red varieties (up to 10%).

The Roncaglia is made from white Pinot Nero gekeltertem (at least 25 to 100%), and any use of Pinot Grigio, Trebbiano, Chardonnay, Sauvignon and Pinot Bianco (up to 75%) were produced. The Roncaglia Bianco is made from Trebbiano Toscano (85-100%), and any other permitted white varieties (up to 15%). The Bianco is in any mixture of the varieties Trebbiano Toscano (here Albanella), Verdicchio, Biancame, Pinot Bianco, Pinot Grigio, Pinot Noir (vinified white), Riesling Italico, Chardonnay and Sauvignon (75-100%), and other permitted white varieties (up to 25%) blended. Rosso and Rosato are produced from Sangiovese (70-100%) and possibly other permitted red varieties (up to 30%).
