The most important grape varieties
Named after the river of the same area with about 20,000 hectares has been classified as DOC in 1990 and is located in the region Beiras in the north Portugal . The vineyard dates back to ancient Greece. We find particularly where vineyards have existed for centuries, in many strange rock hollows and depressions in the form of stone basins (Lagaretas).
