The estate is located in the municipality Chambolle-Musigny in the Burgundian region Côte de Nuits . The domain has been towards the end of the 14th Century by Jean Moisson founded the business already viticulture. This funded in 1400 the old town church. In 1766 married Cerice François Melchior de Moisson Vogüé the last female descendants. The property was enlarged by exchange and purchase. Impressive is the 15th of the -Century vaulted cellar. Comte Georges de took over as Vogüé (1898-1987) the estate of his father, it was renamed from "Arthur Comte de Vogüé" in its present name. From 1980 until the death of his daughter Elizabeth George took over more responsibility and formed a new team. Today's owners in 20 Generation of the family are the granddaughters Claire de causans and Marie de Ladoucette. The vineyards cover just over 12 hectares of vineyards, which are mostly planted with Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. There is interest in the two-Crand Crus Bonnes-Mares (2.75 ha) and Musigny (7.25 acres of the 10 ha), as well as the Premier Cru Les Amoureuses situation. The flagship of the house red wine "Musigny Cuvée Vieilles Vignes" is (old vines). The year 1990 is regarded as particularly outstanding (see also under Century wine ). Exclusively the domain of small amounts of a white wine made from Chardonnay-Musigny is produced.
