Fairly mature nose with light medicinal notes, preserved red currants, cherries and some cassis. Firm and quite cool, fairly prominent red currant fruit on the palate, some sour cherries and wild herbs, well integrated oak, delicately spicy with some chocolate, medium, slightly astringent tannins, juicy with a crisp acid bite, has backbone and character, slightly bitter with mineral traces on a good finish.
