DOC for a wide range of red, rosé and white wines in the Italian region of Friuli-Venezia Giulia , near the border with Slovenia and Austria in the province of Gorizia (Gorizia), which border the river forms Judrio. In April 2006, the Eastern Hills of Friuli was classified as DOCG Picolit. The wine was until the mid-18th Century to find the nobility and imperial tables of Europe and became Château d'Yquem equated. The sweet, straw-colored dessert wine has a rich flavor of honey, flowers, figs, apples and pears. It must consist of at least 85%, in the subzone Cialla 100% Picolit Bianco are pressed.
