The cooperative winery is located in the municipality of Klausen (Chiusa) in the Italian wine sector South Tyrol (Area Trentino-Alto Adige ). It was founded in 1961 by then 24 members. The foundation stone was laid in the basement of the historic clean Thalerhof. Today the business is conducted by Dr. Claudia Perbellini as cellar master is Thomas Mann Village responsibility. In 1975 the company relocated to its present site in 2005 it was rebuilt and expanded the production building. The vineyards cover 130 hectares of vineyards in up to 900 meters above sea level, which are managed through consultation and training of 130 members from 11 communities supported. There are the white wines Sylvaner, Müller-Thurgau, Riesling, Gewürztraminer, Kerner, Pinot Gris, Pinot Blanc, Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc, and the red varieties Vernatsch, Pinot Noir, grown Blue Portugal, Zweigelt and Lagrein and processed. The winery specializes in white wines.
The hand-picked and immediately delivered to the winery grapes are subjected to quality control and evaluated according to the health and gradation. The must is fermented at controlled temperature in stainless steel tanks or wooden barrels. Depending on the variety and quality level, there is a different length of storage time and maturity. The typical varietal white wines vinified the "Aristos" line will be pressed from strictly-selected, reduced yield top quality grapes. The absolute Sptzenerzeugnisse of the house, the two augebauten in barrique "Dominius" are (red and white) from selected locations, the dessert wine "Nectaris" from selected dried grapes and white wine "harmony" from selected grapes of the middle Eisacktal. The majority of the wines under the DOC designations Eisacktaler and South Tyrol produced. Each year about one million bottles will be sold.

Tart herbaceous nose with some dried flowers, lychee, citrus fruit and some pomaceous fruit with vegetal traces. Sweetish and creamy on the palate with noticeable alcohol, soft fruit, bitter notes typical of the variety, spicy vegetal notes, prominent lychee, not particularly deep, but slightly strenuous as a result of the high alcohol, attractive to good finish.
