The most important grape varieties
DOC for red and white wine in the Italian region of Trade Marks . The zone covers the entire province of Ancona and Macerata parts of the province, with 60 municipalities. The Bianco (also known as sparkling) is produced from Verdicchio (50-100%) and other permitted white varieties (50%). The Rosso (also called Novello) is produced from Sangiovese and / or Montepulciano (60-100%), and any other permitted red varieties (40%).
