The winery "Ferruccio Carlotto," located in the municipality Ora (Ora) in the area South Tyrol (Alto Adige) in the Italian region Trentino-Alto Adige . Umberto Carl Otto began in 1940 (Mezzadro) as sharecroppers on the farm courtyard at ruins in Mazon Caldif wine operate, where he for 50 years along with his brother and later with his son Ferruccio worked the vineyards. Ferruccio Carl Otto made himself independent in 2000, for the cellar and vinification is responsible daughter Michela. The vineyard area totals 1.6 hectares of vineyards in Mazzon (mainly Pinot Noir and some Vernatsch), and just under one hectare in Auer (Lagrein). The wines are DOC South Tyrol produced. After the alcoholic fermentation of malolactic fermentation in new and used barriques and large oak casks too, where the 12-month extension is. Thereafter, the leveling is done in large steel tanks and oak barrels, a further six months after bottling and storage. Only after several months of storage, the wines are sold. Every year around 20,000 bottles of wine are produced. The winery is a member of the vintners outside South Tyrol.
