DOC area in the Italian region of Basilicata . The zone comprises the three communities Roccanova, and Sant'Arcangelo Castronuovo Sant'Andrea in the province of Potenza. The Bianco is made from at least 80% Malvasia Bianca di Basilicata unds other approved varieties. Rosso (also known as Reserve) and are Rosato of Sangiovese (60-85%), Cabernet Sauvignon (5-30%), Malvasia Nera di Basilicata (5-30%), Montepulciano (5-30%) and other approved varieties ( together more than 10%) blended.
