DOC (also Guardiolo) for dry reds, rosé and white wines in the Italian region of Campania . The zone includes areas in the communities Castelvenere, Sanframondi Guardia, San Lorenzo Maggiore and San Lupo in the province of Benevento. The varietal types Falanghina (also known as spumante) and Aglianico must consist of at least 90% of each variety, the rest must be approved varieties of each color. The Bianco is blended from Malvasia Bianca di Candia (50-70%), Falanghina (20-30%), and any other permitted white varieties (up to 10%). Rosso (also called Novello) and are Rosato of Sangiovese (80-100%), and pressed eventuiella nother permitted red varieties. With two years of age and at least 12.5% alcohol by volume content may be the Rosso reserve call.
