The estate is located in the town of Pyrgos on the island of Thira Kalistis the Aegean islands Santorini . It was founded in 1996 by Konstantina Hatzidakis and Haridimos. Haridimos Hatzidakis had after studying the winemaker at the famous company Boutari Crete and Santorini worked, where he met his wife. The vineyards on the volcanic soil had not been used since 1956 and only had to be laboriously cleared and replanted. The vineyards are planted with white varieties Aidani Aspro, Assyrtiko and Athiri, as well as with the red varieties Mavratragano, and Mandilaria Voudomato. The management is based on Organic Viticulture (Mash, bird droppings) and avoidance of Biocides . The product range includes the OPAP wines Santorini both dry and sweet as Vinsanto , The white wine specialty Nykteri (Assyrtiko), a sweet-developed Voudomato (which is rare) as well as several Topikos Oinos (country wines).

Deep, complex nose, berry syrup, some coffee, candied almonds, some licorice, touch of egg nog and chocolate pudding, earthy and mineral as well as light oxidative notes. Almost oily consistency on the palate, very concentrated and sweet, slightly oxidative fruit, coffee and chocolate, prominent salty notes, gripping but also elegant acidity, persistent, complex and deep, elegant bite, herbaceous notes, mature tannins, long finish.

Rather murky golden colour. Clearly oxidative nose with partly dried pomaceous fruit and some citrus, elegant spicy vegetal notes, mineral traces. Creamy, sweetish fruit on the palate, slightly oxidative, rather prominent, very elegant acidity, yeasty and light herbaceous notes, touch of sugar candy and caramel, persistent, huge body, very good finish. Rather unusual, but very convincing in its own style. Store at low temperature!

Very full-bodied, ripe and creamy on the palate, juicy fruit, prominent candied nuts, slightly spicy vanilla oak, persistent, fairly prominent elegant acidity, has grip and substance, some depth, very good finish.

Delicately oxidative but firm nose, wilted leaves, partly dried pomaceous and stone fruit, some citrus, light sugar candy, fairly prominent mineral notes. Very full-bodied on the palate with prominent alcohol, extremely ripe fruit, sweetish and juicy, fairly prominent elegant acidity, extremely fine grape tannins, very persistent and has good depth, slightly sharp alcohol, long finish. Rather unusual style, apparently very traditional.
