The French Ampelograph Dr. Jean-Michel Boursiquot (born 1958) comes from a winemaking family in Charentes (Cognac). He studied Viticulture Institute in Montpellier under Pierre Pierre Galet (1921), his successor as head of the Ampelography he was.
