Very ripe, partly dried and preserved sour cherries and black berries on the nose, herbaceous and roasted traces. Full-bodied and slightly sweetish on the palate, partly dried and partly preserved fruit, some nutty, toasted oak, more partly dried herbs, persistent and has some depth, very big body and very ripe, but also has cool elements, vegetal and earthy notes in the background, noticeable alcohol, still very young, very good finish. A powerful wine in the Amarone style that still succeeds in remaining on track. We initially underestimated the wine, which contibued to improve over several days, and may improve even more given bottle maturation.
