Kövidinka

The white grape variety originates from Hungary (Koe = stone, or stone of Kövi =). Synonyms are Bakar, Crvena Dinka, Hajnalpiros, Kamena Dinka Kamenoruziak Cerveny, Kevidinka, Kovidinka, Kubinyi, Mala Dinka, Pankota, Pirca Voros, Piros Kövidinka, rose grape, Crvena Ruzica, Ruzsica, stone Schiller, Schiller Roz Stone and Werschatzer. In Hungary, it occupies about 900 hectares of vineyards, especially in the Pannonian Basin (Great Plain). Stocks also exist in Bulgaria and the former Yugoslavia. See also Dinka .
