The most important grape varieties
The Austrian wine region is one of eight of the state of Lower Austria and covers 3802 hectares. The name was the west of Vienna lying area of combat, which flows through it by Schoenberg in the north to the south and Hadersdorf near Krems in the Danube flows. Wine can be found here since the early Middle Ages. By 1993, the now independent vineyards and Kamp were Kremstal under the name of Kamp-Danube country united. It is dominated by clay, loess and primary rock soils. The climate is hot, Pannonian influences, and characterized by cool currents from the forest district. The Precipitation is rather low, in spring, autumn and winter there is often fog.
Center is the largest vineyard to the Austrian wine community Kamp with the cadastral Gobelsburg, Haindorf and Zöbing. Others are Etsdorf, Hadersdorf, chambers, Lengenfeld, Schoenberg, Osnabrueck, in Strasbourg and Walker Strassertale village. The most famous vineyard is Heiligenstein (Zöbing), others are Bleckenweg, Gaisberg , Grub , Dechant , Fahnberg , Ms Point, hazel, Hiesberg, Käferberg, Calvary, Kogelberg, Ladner , Lamb (Riede Austria) , Latvians, , Liss, Panzaun , Sauberg, Schenkenbichl , Seeberg, Mirror (Riede Austria) , Midsummer mountain, stone house, Steinmassl , And Tagler Wechselberg .

In the fall of 2008, the source-controlled quality level Kamptal DAC introduced with two approved varieties. The wines may be marketed either as Kamptal DAC Grüner Veltliner or Riesling Kamptal DAC. The Blend is based on the annual survey conducted in 2009 Weingarten. Compared to the last survey in 1999, there were no significant changes. The proportion of red wines has increased to a lesser extent than in other wine-growing areas by only 6%. The two varieties Chardonnay and Pinot Blanc 1999 were not recorded in common:
