The "Weinlaubenhof" the family is located in the municipality Illmitz Kracher in Burgenland wine region Lake Neusiedl (Austria). Quite a complex nose with candied citrus fruit, stone fruit, brioche and preserved pears. Orange zest, some mango and delicate spicy botrytis notes on the nose, elegant, but quite deep and stimulating. Fairly cool nose with delicate buttery notes, light nutty notes and some spicy oak, moderate botrytis notes. Medium-to-full-bodied, very creamy, hint of caramel, Mediterranean fruit and herbaceous notes, persistent and complex, light nutty notes, bread crust, linden flower honey, candied pineapple, charming, has some depth, integrated acidity makes for a very well balanced wine, very long finish.
