Mature, fairly shy nose, touch of bell peppers, dried berries, medicinal herbs and old oak, cedary and mineral notes. More medicinal herbs on the palate, tart vegetal notes, slightly dried out but persistent fruit, dark berries and red currants, touch of tart citrus fruit, mature, slightly astringent tannins, quite full-bodied, hint of coffee on a very good finish.

Fairly open, mature nose, preserved and dried plums, partly dried dark berries and some brown apples. Slightly oxidative again on the palate, ripe and mature, dried berry fruit, plums and bruised apples, some undergrowth, cedar and tart medicinal herbs, mature tannins, light volatile traces on a good to very good finish.

Nose dominated by spicy oak and coconut, clearly oxidative, reminiscent of whisky, partly dried yellow fruit. Fairly mature on the palate, more prominent spicy oak, vanilla and whisky notes, medicinal herbs, preserved and dried pomaceous fruit, integrated acidity, spicy oak on a good finish. Very unusual, but very well made if seen as a representative of an oak philosophy.
