The estate is located in the municipality Avdira 20 kilometers from the city of Xanthi in the Greek region Thrace . Avdira was in the ancient home of the philosopher Democritus and Protagoras. It was founded in 1999 by Nikos Vourvoukeli. The vineyards cover ten hectares of vines that are planted with the red varieties Limnio, Pamiti (Pamid), Cinsault, Syrah and Merlot, as well as the white wine varieties Assyrtiko, Roditis, Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc. The management is carried out according to organic standards. There are red, rosé and white wines Topikos Oinos (country wines) produced.
