DOC area (also briefly Lacrima di Morro) for red wine in the Italian region of Trade Marks . It was introduced in 1985 to protect the vine from extinction. The area includes the municipalities of Belvedere Ostrense, Monte San Vito, the eponymous Morro d'Alba, Ostra, San Marcello and Senigallia in the province of Ancona. The wine is from Lacrima di Morro (85-100%), and Montepulciano, Sangiovese and white Verdicchio variety (15%) grapes. There is also a raisin made ​​from dried grapes.
