DOC for sparkling white and rose wine (sparkling wine) in the Italian region Emilia-Romagna . The area includes the municipalities of Bastiglia, Bomporto, Ravarino, Campogalliano, Campo Santo, Carpi, Castelfranco Emilia, Modena, Nonantola, San Cesario sul Panaro, San Prospero and Soliera in the province of Modena. Rosso and Rosato are the varieties of Lambrusco di Sorbara (60-100%) and Lambrusco Salamino (40%), and each produced in secco, Amabile, abboccato dolce and expanded. See also Lambrusco .
