Flurbereinigung
Designation (including field cleanup, floor control, industrial control, assignment) for all measures, mostly through inheritance fragmented agricultural land through consolidation of the management to make appropriate and cost effective. The wine was in Germany in the second half of the 20th Century, a state-managed land consolidation program. From the early 1960s was turned over half of West German vineyards. There have been many improvements through better access roads, improved machinability and better Water discharge . Many fragmented holdings were merged, thereby reducing production costs. The land consolidation carried out but in some cases led to very large monocultures with negative side effects such as erosion or pest population increased, so were from the 1990s, actions carried out environmentally conscious. By the land consolidation in 1971, 30,000 were single location combined to reduce by less than 3,000. See also Corridor .
