The red variety is a new variety between (Merlot x Seibel 13666) x (x Blaufränkisch St. Laurent). The crossing took place in the Czech Republic by the breeders and L. Michlovský Vilém Kraus Prof. Ing. The Plant Variety Protection was granted in 2004. So far there are only a small test crops.
