The estate is located in the municipality Giannitsa-Archontiko near the site of ancient Pella (the birthplace of Alexander the Great) in the appeal Goumenissa in the Greek region Macedonia . It was founded in 1985 by Thomas leagues after his oenology studies in France. Processes are the white varieties Assyrtiko, Kydonitsa, Roditis and Sauvignon Blanc, and the red varieties Xynomavro, Limniona (Limnio) and Merlot. The management follows the rules of organic farming. There are red, rosé and white wines Topikos Oinos (country wines) produced.

The wines

Both the white and red wines here are of similarly solid quality, and the rosé is good too. The Roditis is particularly enjoyable.

Medium-intense nose, fairly mature, mineral and metallic notes. partly dried small berries and undergrowth. Polished compact red berry fruit on the palate, some cherries and slightly tart plums, herbaceous notes, delicately juicy, light acid bite, well integrated oak, integrated, fine-grained tannins, clean and refreshing, good finish.

Fairly mature nose, delicate oxidative notes, brown apples, pureed berries, plums and cedar wood. Medium-bodied fruit on the palate, some more pureed berries, violets, preserved plums and herbaceous notes, bitter notes in the background, integrated tannins, slightly sandy with some cedary notes on an attractive finish.

Fairly shy nose, preserved red berries and some buckthorn. Soft, very slightly sweetish red berry fruit, light vegetal notes, moderate acidity provides backbone, uncomplicated style, shows its origins to some extent, acceptable to attractive finish.

Ripe red berries and plum preserves on the nose, roasted, spicy oak. Quite juicy fruit with elegant acidity, oak quite present, fine dusty tannins, oak tannins increasingly astringent with aeration, spicy oak on a fruity finish. The Merlot character is there, but oak becomes dominant with exposure to air.
