Kalkberg
Single location in the village Duttweiler (Neustadt / Wine Route, the area Mittelhaardt-German Wine Route) in the German wine-growing area Palatine . The name is derived from the soil. The south-facing vineyard in 125 to 130 meters above sea level with a 5% slope covers 25 hectares of vineyards. The loess soil is sandy loam with the subsoil and appreciable proportions of tertiary limestones. This has a good Water storage capacity . Here especially, the Pinot Noir and Riesling is also grown. A share, for example, the winery Bergdolt St. Lambert .
