Prominent oak on the nose, burnt potatoes, earthy notes and tobacco, muted dried dark fruit, prominent malted notes, cereals and nuts, some caramel. Oak again tremendously dominant on the palate, toasted notes and chocolate, malted notes, slightly astringent, huge body, very creamy, noticeable alcohol, jammy fruit in the background, hot style, not particularly deep, but has some substance, more oak and alcohol on a good finish, Not a bad effort, but the overdone, overripe and oak-dominated style has little to do with Brunello.

Shy nose with muted berry notes and oak. Also still very youthful on the palate, dominant tannins hide the cool berry fruit, soft and harmonious, but also astringent, needs time and aeration, not particularly deep, attractive finish.

Red and black berries, plum preserves, spicy oak, some vanilla and light chocolate notes. Rounded ripe fruit with prominent oak, chocolate, coffee, quite fine tannins, sweetish and creamy on the palate, full-bodied, some sweetish tobacco in the background, not particularly deep, very well made, quite a lot of chocolate on an attractive finish. Increasingly astringent with aeration.
