The former domain Starhemberg Lesehof serving as a building below the ruins of Senftenberg, the core of the 12th Century is, has been restored and renovated and occupied in 2004 as a new home. In this addition to the winery, a hotel and a restaurant are integrated. The vineyard area totals 25 hectares of vineyards, which are widely dispersed in the spike passing vineyards, Gärtling, freedom, Hochäcker , Are Kremsleiten and Piri. They are 90% of the white varieties Veltliner (40%), Riesling (40%), Sauvignon Blanc, Muscat and Chardonnay, the remaining 10% is planted with Zweigelt. It is a natural, integrated management of vineyards. The strictly selective reading is done by hand in multiple passes and extends to one and a half months. The white wines are aged in steel tanks and partly in barriques. The top wines are marketed under the line "Private". The best wines are the Riesling and Veltliner from the Piri vineyard. When organized by the Journal News Riesling countries fighting against Germany, Austria won the 1992 Riesling Hochäcker private victory. The winery is a member of the vintners association Traditionsweingüter Austria .
