Regional DOC for red wines in the Italian region Sardinia . The zone covers the entire island with 372 communities in all provinces. The wines are made from variety of Monica (85-100%), and any other permitted red varieties. There are variants of the secco (with one year of storage and a higher alcohol content as Superiore ), Amabile and one of two sparkling wine.
