The Greek vineyard in the village Selinous near Corinth in the east Peloponnese was founded in 1989 by graduates of Bordeaux Anghelos Rouvalis founded. The first wine was produced a year later. In 1994 a new winery was put into operation. Since this year the winemaker Yannis Karabatsos the winery operates. The vineyards are located near the coast at an altitude of 500 to 850 meters above the Gulf of Corinth. There are varieties Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay, Lagorthi, Merlot, Riesling, Roditis, Sauvignon Blanc, Syrah and cultivated Volitsa. The winery is considered one of the pioneers of the modern style of wine in Greece. After extensive investigations terroir is placed particularly on the indigenous Roditis grapes. The flagship is the white wine "Asprolithi" which is made from the same species. Every year around 180,000 bottles of wine are produced.

Delicate floral nose with cherries and mixed berries, herbs and spices. Elegant juicy fruit, light acid bite, hint of dark chocolate and licorice, more notes of dried herbs, fine sandy tannins, mineral and smoky traces, slightly astringent on an otherwise good finish.

Mature nose with plum fruit, roasted and malted notes, some caramel. Medium-bodied and harmonious, slightly sweetish, morbid berry fruit, also a little tart, notes of tea, shows its maturity, integrated, slightly astringent tannins, not a lot of substance, but still has good backbone, attractive to good finish.

Wilted leaves, quinces and yellow apples on a discreet nose. Fresh and firm with quite lively acidity, simple, delicate, juicy fruit with notes of quinces and apples, some tannins, typical of the variety and quite appropriate, attractive finish. A lively wine, clean as a whistle and typical for the Roditis grape.
